An English-language institution located in Quebec, McGill's downtown campus includes teachings and research facilities in more than 70 building covering approximately 32 hectares of land. The Macdonald campus occupies 640 hectares on the western tip of the island of Montreal and includes a cattle complex, a state-of-the-art computer-controlled greenhouse, a research farm, orchards, and the Morgan Arboretum.
