Forwards funds to Mennonite Central Committee Canada to support international relief. Warehouse collects and ships clothing/blankets/food/medical supplies to Mennonite Central Committee Canada for forwarding to other countries. Partners with churches and other agencies to provide newcomer resettlement, training, and assistance. Provides education and support for peace-making, First Nations reconciliation, and abuse prevention. Places voluntary service workers in community/social service positions. Provides education, training and support to single-parent families to generate savings, create affordable nutritional options, connect with community resources and find employment. Provides rent and utility assistance, meals and clothing for homeless and at risk of homeless persons and gives financial support for supportive housing. Thrift Shops with approximately 900 volunteers serve low income people and sell/recycle used goods. Ten Thousand Villages sells fair trade products to provide sustainable income to artisans around the world. Guest House provides low cost accommodation to families and missions workers.
