March of Dimes Canada offers a variety of programs and services to tens of thousands of people each year. Our client services for the people with physical disabilities include those that are Government funded, fee-for-service based and those subsidized through corporate and/or donor support. Accessibility Services - provide a full range of options that help remove the day-to-day barriers people with disabilities face. Assistive Devices Program (ADP)/Home & Vehicle Modification Program (HVMP)/ DesignAbility Program/Barrier-Free Design consultation/Northern Medical Clinics are some of the other programs. Conductive Education - merges elements of education and rehabilitation to help people with neurological-based movement difficulties improve their independence and mobility. Employment Services help people with disabilities develop employment plans, prepare work, overcome employment barriers and return to the workforce. Independent Living Services/Attendant Services/Acquired Brain Injury Services/Home Care Services. Peers Fostering Hope - is a peer mentoring program operating in collaboration with several GTA Hospitals MOD Mobility - accessible bus service provider operating in the GTA Political Activities Description Political Activities Description March of Dimes Canada has a government relations and advocacy program for people with disabilities and advocates for and with consumers, promoting programs or legislation to meet the needs of people with disabilities.
