The Canadian Music Educators Association Foundation (CMEAF) was established in 1989 as a charitable organization dedicated to improving music education across Canada through grants and awards programs, conferences, concerts, and other events. Since its inception, CMEAF has provided more than $1 million in grants to music educators across Canada. The association also works closely with other institutions such as the National Arts Centre School, Royal Conservatory of Music, and Toronto Symphony Orchestra Academy to promote excellence in music education across Canada.
