The Canadian foodgrains bank is a partnership of Canadian churches and church-based agencies working to end hunger in developing countries. Its charitable program include provision of food to hungry people, funding of programs to improve nutrition, assisting communities and households to feed themselves, education of Canadians about international hunger issues, and advocating for policy changes necessary to end hunger. The international program is delivered through its member agencies and their operational partners in developing countries. Political Activities Description Political Activities Description The Foodgrains Bank has called on the government of Canada to increase the aid budget and the allocation of aid to support agricultural development. This includes producing materials, organizing events, and other activities which call members of the Canadian public to communicate this to elected officials. These activities directly relate to our mission of reducing global hunger.
